Course Description: This course is a survey course on second language acquisition research. It aims to acquaint students with some important issues pertaining to second language acquisition and help students gain a general understanding of the process of learning a second/foreign language. The course will be run in a seminar fashion where participants will take turn reporting on the articles they are interested in and leading the discussion. II. Course Text: The course text comprises a packet of articles drawn from book chapters and journals. The packet of reading materials can be purchased at a copy shop near the university. III.
